I will be giving a book talk for The Archaeology of American Protests at Vassar College on November 5, 2025. The “featuring faculty” series takes place in the Vassar library. My talk will be in to class of 51 Reading Room at 4pm.
April completed a survey of the visible grave markers in Olive’s Old Tongore Cemetery and posted an interactive map online. Visitors can zoom in and out and click on each point to see the name and death date of the individual whose gravestone was recorded.
April has been selected as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar to conduct research at the Natural History Museum Vienna in Austria for the Spring 2025 semester.
